Cancellations & refunds
Orders can be cancelled by calling us before we start preparing them, and we will refund the full amount to your original payment method. If we can't fulfil part of your order, for example because an item has sold out, we will contact you and refund the affected items. Food is made fresh to order, so we can't refund orders once they have been prepared or collected. If something is wrong with your order, please call us the same day and we will work with you to put it right.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few business days to show them.
Ordering terms
When you place an order on this website, you are asking Sammy Dhoe’s to prepare it for pickup or delivery. We email a confirmation as soon as it is placed, with a link where you can follow its progress as the kitchen works on it.
Prices, menu items and availability can change. The total shown at checkout, including any delivery fee, tax and tip, is what you pay. If something you ordered becomes unavailable before we make it, we will contact you before going ahead.
Pickup and delivery times are our best estimate. We work to have every order ready on time, but busy periods, weather and traffic can cause delays.
If you have a food allergy or dietary need, tell us in your order notes and call us before ordering so we can talk you through it.
Privacy
What we collect
To take an order we ask for your name, phone number and email address, and for delivery, your address and any delivery notes. We keep a record of what you ordered and any notes you add.
How we use it
Only to prepare and hand over your order, to contact you about it, and to send your confirmation and order updates by email. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe, a payment processor. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our website or seen by our staff.
Who else handles it
We rely on a small number of service providers to run this site: hosting and data storage, payment processing, and email delivery. They process information only to provide those services to us.
Cookies and your browser
Your cart is saved in your own browser so it survives a page refresh. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The map on our contact page is provided by Google and is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.
Your choices
We keep order records for our business and tax records. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted where we’re able to, contact us using the details below.
